Grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains with a strong desire to be creative in a way that served the public. Interior Design sparked my interests because of the way it is ever changing and evolves around everyday life. Design influences behavior, emotions, and displays individuality.

Sacramento State University allowed me to expand my interests in design and provided me with the education and tools to express my ideas. During school I had the opportunity to work on some freelance design jobs and gained a first look into the professional world. Meanwhile my internship at Benning Design Associates helped me develop my professional skills as well as observe the design process. 



As my journey continues into the professional design world my interests have increased towards many areas including hospitality and commercialism. I have a strong respect for the environment given my childhood and encourage sustainable design in any and every project as much as possible.
